I must admit I'm more than excited for the weekend. We battled the flu all week over here and I'm ready to move on. The laundry is clean, the house is sanitized and a special early Valentine's date is in the works. Do you have anything special planned?
I know some people consider Valentine's Day a "greeting card holiday" and even I get annoyed at the retail frenzy that goes on. But what I do love, is an excuse to tell the people you love, or even the people you just like or admire, how you feel about them. I love to see handmade valentines and notes written by hand. Plus, it seems to be perfectly fine with everyone if you overdose on all sorts of refined sugar products and chocolate, whether you're in love or not. That's a good holiday.
Well, I'm off to finish a special non-sugary gift for my love. I hope your weekend is wonderful!
