I'm heading out of state, but I'm just dying to finally show you the little project I've been working on!
A while back, I approached Meg from Photography by Meg about taking some pictures for my future website (for custom parties). I knew I wanted to style a little party. She jumped right on board and we decided our little girls, Eden and Ellie, would be the stars. Megan did such an amazing job photographing everything. I absolutely love the sun drenched look of the orchard. Now I want to have a real party there!
Once we decided on the orchard, I began to imagine a vintage inspired party with lots of white, pops of yellow and pink and a little bit of chambray thrown in the mix. I hope you enjoy the theme as much as I do.
There are so many pictures, but I had to include them all. This may be the longest post yet. Make sure you scroll all the way down-there's a little giveaway at the end!
We made the girls pose so much and the vintage rompers may or may not have been giving them wedgies the whole time, but they did so great! At the end they decided to dress up the cake with a little bit of dandelion art. Not surprisingly, the best natural smiles came out when we let them play.
Now, for a little giveaway (thanks for hanging in there)!
The winner will receive:
-the festive cake bunting above
-the rustic chambray bunting from the photo shoot
-12 rustic chambray flag toppers for your next party (as seen in the photo shoot)
