A farm park + the list
One thing I've been impressed with here in the Bay area is the amazing selection of parks. You never know what you're going to find when you visit one. So far, one of our favorites has been a local park that has a carousel, a steam train and friendly volunteers selling bbq and ice cream. This weekend we discovered another local park with wild chickens, an old barn, and a petting zoo (all free!).
It hit me this weekend that we have 12 WEEKS until our baby boy is born and Jeremy graduates! We will be moving a few short weeks after that. As excited as I am to get home, I feel like I want to see and experience all I can while we're here. This week I'm working on what I will affectionately call "the list." A things-to-do-while-in-the-Bay list that will keep me busy these last three months.
So far, the list is pretty lame:
Visit a few of these thrift stores in San Francisco
Visit the Bodega bay/Russian River area (a little 4th of July trip is in the works!)
Clearly, I need your help! Do you have any suggestions? We love visiting all the surrounding areas of the Bay, not just the city.
I welcome any advice you can give :)
I have been to Badega Bay..old white building from Hitchcocks "The Birds" is still there. It's very quiet and north a bit are some nice beaches. I always like tide pools, note always easy to find.
