Geometric paperweights (and a promise)

This past weekend I had fun playing with oven bake clay!   I made some pretty geometric paperweights for our home office.  They were really easy and quick to make (plus some baking time) and I'm really pleased with how they turned out!

I shared the full tutorial over at Dotcoms for Moms yesterday, you can see it here.

P.S.  I've been sharing a lot on other sites lately, haven't I?!  While I'm thrilled to be contributing to these new sites, I wanted to assure you that Swoon will remain the same: a journal of my life, projects, and things I love.  To be honest, I've had an interesting time adjusting to all the new things happening, but am striving to keep this space completely mine.  I have a few new columns and projects in the works for Swoon and can't wait to unveil it all soon, thanks for sticking with me, I appreciate each and every one of you!!

  1. Last night for an outdoor party, I used a Thomas train engine for a napkin weight. This would have been so much prettier! :-)

Also, speaking of new columns here on Swoon, I enjoyed seeing your month-by-month number art, but I just realized that I haven't seen any recently. I liked those. :)
