Crafts for kids: Simple terrariums

Recently the girls and I made these pretty little terrarium globes to hang in our home.  I've got my fingers crossed that between the three of us we can keep them alive (so far, so good)!

I was surprised by their interest in the planting process, and the great care they took while handling the plants and containers. It's giving me all sorts of ideas for a garden in the spring.
