After several weekends spent at home, our wanderlust finally got the best of us. We bought cartons of rainier cherries and strawberries at the farmers market in Campbell and hit the road for a day at the beach in Santa Cruz.
After a few hours spent in the sun and sand we devoured some locally made ice cream from Marianne's. Throw in the making of some delicious tarts (lemon meringue, and strawberry cream) and you have one very sweet weekend!
