San Francisco bound + Friday favorites
We're heading to San Francisco on Tuesday and I can hardly wait! I'm a little late in planning, but I'm doing a little research on what we should do and eat while visiting the Bay. It's a short trip, but we have the rare luxury of exploring without our little ones (does that sound horrible?) and I intend to pack as much as I can into three days. Do you have any suggestions? She has some great recommendations on food, and I'm learning a lot from her readers, but I'd love to hear from you!
In the meantime, here are some of my favorites this week:
Fun + Colorful streamers at a Boy Scout Camp Wedding via Once Wed (click over the see the rest of the wedding, the chevron invites are super cute!)
Que, Sera, Sera print (free download!) created by Nicole of Making it Lovely
Gorgeous bedroom spotted in a sneak peek of the latest issue of Anthology on Oh Joy! ( I think it may even be her own bedroom)
A clever color your own candles card by W+K Studio seen on Design Sponge
Lovely art by Double Merrick found via Smaller
And last, but not least, an adorable thank you gift for parents of twins by Danyelle
P.S. Tune in Monday for the big reveal of a project I've been working on, and don't forget to come to Connect!

Two cities in 7 days.
What a week! After Easter I decided to stay in Seattle with my sister and her husband. Their tiny apartment in just one block from the Pike Place Market in Seattle. I can't wait to show you some pictures of our adventures next week!
On Wednesday we took the train to Portland. We met my husband, Mom and kids at the station. We all surprised my Dad at a business banquet. We had to keep it under wraps because he was winning an award. So fun!
I'm still walking around Portland with my family, but I wanted to wish you a happy weekend!
p.s. Remember that contest I entered? I'm a finalist! Hop over to Urban Scarlet and take a peek and leave a comment.

Happy Easter
Ready or not, here comes Easter. We're heading to Seattle to celebrate with some family and maybe do a little shopping. I went simple this year and just got the girls each a little book (pictured above). I have a feeling they'll be getting plenty of candy this weekend from other sources!
While I'm busy driving west, here are some links for your Easter weekend:
Cardboard, all dressed up
More than a bunny: The Easter story according to Twitter
Say yes to books
When did Toms get so tiny?
Ruffles + cake = magic
Hands down, favorite wedding of the week: s'mores!
I'm heading to Anthropologie soon to try this on. ps-check out the main page of the site-I love the styling of the shoot!
What I wish I was eating instead of hard-boiled eggs.
Free shipping at JCrew! I'll take one of these, these, and how about these (yeah right).
I hope your weekend is fabulous! Did I mention my youngest is finally walking? Lots of added fun to our Easter :)

Happy Friday
This week has been long and busy. Needless to say, I'm glad the weekend is here.
I'm feeling the need to just relax and be playful with my kids for a couple of days. Tomorrow I plan on reading lots of books (of the kid sort), making wooden bead necklaces and playing hide and seek. There will be plenty of walks and spontaneous bubble blowing.
Who knows? Maybe we will even make this cake:
Or maybe just some of this chocolate hazelnut spread:
I hope your weekend is all kinds of wonderful. I'll be back next week refreshed and ready to go!

short & sweet
I have two projects going on that are taking up every ounce of my creativity right now....let me just say my weekend is going to be full of sewing machines and party hats.
I can't wait to share it all with you soon, but for now I will just leave you with something sweet for your weekend. I pinned both of these pictures the other day and I am completely smitten!
See you next week!

Happy Friday
Ahh, it's finally Friday.
I have had a rough time completing projects this week due to the crazy workspace I have going on over here. And by workspace I mean a folding table from Costco in the corner of the play room/family room that I have officially outgrown. In a word: uninspiring.
Besides a dinner party and a fun musical about the Beatles, this weekend I am devoting myself to taking my desk from this:
to something like this:
this:
or even this:
I know what you're thinking, but I gotta try. In the meantime, here are a few things I discovered on the web this week:
A rad invitation with lots of tiny pictures of the birthday boy (?) for guests to look at!
I would like to go here now. A castle is great, but adding balloons is even better.
I love everything about this backyard wedding, from the hanging birds to the block printed linens, paper and favors!
I hope your weekend is the best ;)

Happy Friday
Whew! What a week it's been! Thank you for all of the great response to the Valentine Giveaway! A special thanks to Dandee for getting the word out. Speaking of her, check her out over at Design Mom today. Her adorable Mixed Tape Valentines are being featured. Such great idea!
Here's a couple of other things for your weekend:
Check out this cool video made by my fashion-photographer brother-in-law!
Have you hear of J Crew Factory? It opens every weekend here. Extra 30% off of sale items this weekend!
Emily makes me want to wear pretty things and take pictures of myself (pretty sure they would turn out as great as hers though) Find her here.
The French version of laid back Converse-type shoes . Definitely on the list of things to wear in Paris (and here!).
That's all for me this week. We're planning to spend the weekend finishing our bathroom and setting up our daughter's first real bed (tear). Whatever you have planned, I hope it's a lovely time :)

Happy Friday!
Doesn't that look like fun? I guess the picture was part of a Christmas card :).
Well, my lovelies, I plan on taking it easy this weekend. How about you? We have something planned almost every night next week, not to mention little Addie is turning one on Thursday (I might have to stop calling her "little" soon)! A sweatshirt, good book and homemade breakfast sound pretty good to me.
Here are some interesting things for your weekend:
The Crew Cuts sale is still going on until Sunday! Those little outfits kill me everytime.
Amazing paper mobile from haru.
Best nursery I've seen in a while from a great (free) online magazine called
Covet Garden which features real spaces and homes, not ones that have been designed by professionals.
Hearts are definitely on my radar and Sarah & Bendrix in London do not disappoint.
The next book I will buy, without a doubt.
That's all for me. Happy weekending!

Weekly Roundup + Special Announcement
I am not sure this day could get any better! Sitting on my counter are two unopened boxes from places I love ( Anthro and Wonderland Room), it's New Year's Eve, and one other thing.....remember Ellie's uber-girly party? Today it's being featured right here on Ohdeedoh-my hands down best source for everything kids. I feel so honored and can't stop smiling.
We're planning a quiet NYE due to the lack of a babysitter around here. I'm thinking comfort food and a good movie. Do you have any fun plans?
Here's some interesting links from around the web:
It's not too late to make these little cuties for your friends from Dandee Designs
A cool new site from Andrea Linett of Lucky Magazine featuring real street style and cool sketches and pictures.
Buy a calendar or any other great product at Satsuma Press and donate to help little Liam. I'm planning on hanging my stunning calendar this week!
Isn't my sister funny? I love reading about her take on living in downtown Seattle.
What I wish I was wearing tonight instead of a ratty t-shirt and sweats.
Color inspiration for our bedroom. So far all we have is neutral painted walls with white base boards, but I'm dreaming of soft grays and pops of yellow.
That's all for now! I hope the weekend treats you well and you have a chance to reflect on what has made your year worth while and what can make for an even better one :)

Happy Weekend!
I can't believe it's already December 10th! Still lots of things to make, bake and wrap over here. This weekend we are volunteering at a free carnival for kids and I definitely plan on sipping some hot chocolate and watching a Christmas movie or two.
Here are some links for your weekend:
If you don't know about this paper company, you're missing out.
Totally inspired by this wedding. You will definitely see some of those details in parties to come around here!
Cutest shop for the little ones. I believe I spotted this on A Cup of Jo a while back.
Looking for cool vintage looking cake stands and the like? Click here. I want to buy everything! Especially this one.
Have a warm and wonderful weekend :-)

What a snowy, cozy week! I prefer to enjoy my snow by looking out the window, how about you?
While I try to get warm, here's some links for you to enjoy:
The sweetest little bird. A blue one will be under the tree at our house!
I've been craving some shortbread. Here's a recipe with rosemary in it.
I want to buy everything in this store. Especially the Christmas decor.
