A bushy beard & the fight against human trafficking

I have these awesome friends named Chris and Jana.  I wish everyone could meet them.  They're talented musicians who will welcome you like family and make you laugh.  Most importantly though, they are always involved in the best causes and have done amazing things to help others.

For quite sometime, and much to Jana's dismay, Chris has been growing the biggest beard on the block.  Like it's really big.  And bushy.  Exhibit A:

Jana is ready to see the beard go, but Chris is hoping to continue his shaving strike until the end of 2012.  I'm with Jana-not the hugest fan of facial growth, but the best part of all of this is that this couple has turned the beard dispute into a fundraiser for Project Rescue, an organization that is helping to restore the lives of women and children who are victims of sexual slavery.

Anyone can go to Chris's page and donate to "grow that beard," or over to Jana's page to "shave that beard," and 100% of the proceeds will go to Project Rescue.  I love this brave and unconventional idea!  I couldn't help sharing it here because I really admire how Chris and Jana are always looking for ways to help those who can't help themselves.  You can watch their video here for more information.
