Thirty shmirty.

On Sunday Jeremy turned 30.  It's kind of a big deal. 

I've always admired people in their thirties.  They seem so mature and comfortable with who they are.  The decade seemed so far away.  Until now. 

In spite of the growing pile of boxes, we had a little get together to celebrate.

The sparklers definitely stole the show!  It took me a long time to find a cupcake recipe I was happy with.  I couldn't decide between the Guinness Chocolate and the Vanilla Almond with Maple frosting, so we had both.

As always, a certain little lady had a little after party with the balloons inside.
